Skyblivion is a volunteer-based project by the TESRenewal modding group. We aim to bring The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion to a new generation of gamers and re-introduce it to long time fans of the series. We are currently in the process of remaking Cyrodiil along with all of its quests, locations and characters into Skyrim: Special Edition.

  1. this is fuckin awesome!!! im sure it will be one of the most played games of 2025!! KEEP ON THE GOOD WORK! CHEERS FROM BRAZIL!

  2. Just one of the many people secretly cheering you guys on as we wait for release. Were all counting on you guys!! ^_^

  3. I just want to give a shout out to all the developers working on this, you guys are great and please keep up the work. I’ve just recently started creating my own mods and have gained a much deeper appreciation for all the work you guys do(especially you navmesh guys, I hate navmesh!) and unlike that Tom guy I know you guys are doing this for free on your free time to bring us a much better version of a great game(just the fact you guys are making each dungeon unique brings me great joy!). I know many people give you guys crap about release dates so I just want you guys to know that some of us are waiting patiently and some of us are honing our skills to come help if and when we can.

    So Thank You Very Much!

  4. By the time this project will be done, it will already be old, but you know you will be able to start right where you started tesskyblivion2. It strange you have a team bigger that standard team developer yet it takes more than 10 years to change textures, that a usual moder can do in two weeks even dlcs that take up to a month for one guy to do. I think that these projects like all projects made buy nostalgia driven developers who felt in love with a game will never be finished, so there is no need for the hype.

    1. Get a grip, Tom. It’s a volunteer project. The people giving up their time to work on this have their own lives going on. They’re not all sat in an office working on it every single day. The fact you need someone to clarify this for you says a lot.

    2. I genuinely can’t tell if you’re trolling or not, that should give you an idea of how stupid this comment is.

    1. It says 2025 for a release date. I don’t understand why you are trying to start stuff on here. This group is donating their own free time when they can spare. It’s going to take awhile. Just be patient and if you can’t then volunteer some of your time to help out.

  5. Glad to see another huge update! I’m deciding right now if i want to sink 500 hours into Oblivion and Skyrim… wishing I had this wombo combo! Keep up the great work team!
