Skyblivion is a volunteer-based project by the TESRenewal modding group. We aim to bring The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion to a new generation of gamers and re-introduce it to long time fans of the series. We are currently in the process of remaking Cyrodiil along with all of its quests, locations and characters into Skyrim and Skyrim: Special Edition.

Our next chapter on road to release

Oblivion remade in the Skyrim engine. Thats our goal. With our planned 2025 release date we’re showcasing gameplay systems, a part of the world map, a new city, Ayleid dungeons and much more.

Despite our progress, we can’t do this alone: we hope with your support to finish the final steps in completing Skyblivion. Does that sound like something you can do? Then please apply here.

If you are a fan of the project and you want to help any other way please share our video where you can, you might just reach someone that will help us finish this monster of a project sooner.

Content creators and journalists can visit this link for screenshots, logo’s and general information about the project.

Thank you for all the love and support ~Your Skyblivion Team

  4. Hello.

  8. As a disabled war veteran talking to my physical therapist, close to two decades past; I was surprised when it was suggested that I play video games to help with getting my hand-eye coordination back….heck, I outright started laughing uncontrollably! There I was, with a game controller playing my first game, Zelda. Then I was introduced to another, more fantastic game….Oblivion; and I’ve been hooked ever since.
I’m over sixty now, my hand-eye coordination is better than ever, and when I heard you folks were taking on a grand endeavor to recreating Oblivion on a grander scale, my heart became over joyed!!!
In a long way of saying it: Kudos to all you lads, and lasses for bringing a smile to all the fans ofOblivion!!

    1. My first was Morrowind, and I’ve been hooked on Bethesda ever since. I turned 60 a few months ago and I’m psyched about this project. Once Skyrim and Fallout 4 came out in VR I got ruined. Projects like Skyblivion give me hope that I’ll get to immerse myself once again into a world that I enjoy visiting. Check out openmw, got to love the genius modding community. It can also be played in vr and runs well.

  9. I wish I could donate to y’all, this project is amazing and if there is a God, you’re doing it’s work. Keep up the amazing work, please. I’ve been hearing about this project for over 5 years now, and every time I see an update I get so excited.

  10. Cant wait! Really looking forward to this, just saw the behind the scenes video you guys posted about a month ago. What a great discovery!

  11. Each time you show us what is new I feel like the first time I played Oblivion. Cannot wait to play it!!

  12. I can’t wait to play the whole game, one of the most awesome projects I’ve ever seen.

Congrats to everyone that is making part of this!

  13. Hello to the whole team and to begin with a big thank you for your project which is just magnificent, you are making a childhood dream come true.
I would like to be able to participate but my only talent is to have finished oblivion countless times.
If I can help you test the mod, and provide you with bug reports, I would be honored.

  14. Fabulous, can’t wait for this. Like to make a suggestion – the traps and hazards in dungeons were far to obvious – make them a little more edgy! Great work.

  15. Thank you so much for your continued work on this. I’m really looking forward to it! The new diary entry brings back a lot of memories and also many fascinating things for the future… I’m eager to play it right now. Please let 2025 come very quickly … 🙂
