Skyblivion is a volunteer-based project by the TESRenewal modding group. We aim to bring The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion to a new generation of gamers and re-introduce it to long time fans of the series. We are currently in the process of remaking Cyrodiil along with all of its quests, locations and characters into Skyrim and Skyrim: Special Edition.

  1. Besides GTA 6 I cannot imagine anything else that I would enjoy playing more. Even then I come back to the elder scrolls. I hope modding support will be available. I hope mod list support will be possible with this. I can see thousands of hours being back in Tamriel if there is Hughes mod lists like Lorerim in the ES Oblivion. You people are hero’s

  2. (humor) The question I need to ask, not sure if it was asked before. Does the Skyrim game engine have enough colors to render the Oblivion game correctly? That is a big departure from the near constant shades of grey I’ve become accustomed to in my many hundreds of hours of playing. 🙂

  3. Very much looking forward to playing “Oblivion” again, but without all the “frog-faces.” This looks amazing! It’s a shame Bethesda couldn’t get more voice actors, though. Wes Johnson is a talented actor, but all his parts sound the same. He never regulated his voice much to indicated one character from another, much in the same way Stephen Russell voiced so many characters for Skyrim. That said, I’m to understand the actors were only given lines to read, without knowing they would be used for different characters. In any case, this will be a wonderful gift of nostalgia when you’ve finally got it ready for release. I can hardly wait!

  4. Thank you to everyone working on this. This video looks beautiful, you guys have outdone anything Bethesda could create. I am so stoked to re-pour endless hours into this world. Props to all of you and keep it up! If you have a donation link or something I would love to contribute! Best of luck.
