Remaking Oblivion in the Skyrim engine is what we set out to do when we started the Skyblivion project. Making games takes time, this goes double for a volunteer project the size of a AAA game that took a team of fulltime DEVS years to make.
Regardless we would like to share today that Skyblivion is in a state where we can promise a 2025 release at the latest.
We hope with your support to finish the final steps in completing our dream, maybe even beating our own estimation.

I’m going to have a heart attack if Bethesda actually puts out TES 6 first….
The whole project will get scrapped and they’ll start again in the new engine, just like Morroblivion did.
won’t happen. they barely start talking about it. we won’t see TES6 before 2027 in my opinion
Thats fair considering how much time between releases of their games, I mean, Fallout 4 to Starfield is a big jump and Skyrim to Fallout 4 to a lesser extent, I could totally see 2027 as the de facto release year.
This is gonna be great! Can’t wait to see people make mods for it within 10 hours.

I have two questions, the first is if it will be available in several languages such as Spanish and the other question is if they are also developing the dlc or is it just the base game

Awesome. I have been a fan since I played Skyrim. It’s become one of my favorite games and I just recently started playing Elder Scrolls Online. But this is like a game I can’t wait for. Ty for making games this much fun and I’ll continue to keep playing. 🖤

Ever since I heard about this project back in 2018 I have been waiting with bated breath for its release. I have always wanted to play through the entire lineage of Elder Scrolls games but got disillusioned with Oblivion because of the very dated gameplay elements. I do, however, love Skyrim’s core gameplay loop, and I am anxiously awaiting the release of Skyblivion, so I can properly enjoy what many call the best game in the series via the mechanics of the game that awoke my obsession with the universe of Tamriel. 2025 can’t come soon enough,

I highly recommend the Dark Brotherhood questline when you get to play, I liked it much better than Skyrim’s, all I’ll say on it is that you play a bigger part in the questline then in Skyrim
